How do I follow up after I’ve submitted my application, and will I receive notifications on the status of my application?

What is a “continuous” posting?

A position with "continuous" listed as the closing date will be open until the position has been filled. 

Am I able to submit a paper application?

Under limited circumstances, agencies may permit applicants to submit a paper application.  If you are unable to complete the electronic application, contact the human resources department for the agency in which you are applying for information about alternate application methods.
